What I hear: end of ACDC - Back in Black... beginning of... ahh... ACDC - Shook Me All Night Long.
Yeah, I downloaded an MP3 burner so I can make an MP3 cd for my trip. I'm listening to disc one of my two disc playlist. about 400 songs... There are some more I will download this week to make the highly anticipated--at least by me--Volume II.
Being as anal retentive as I am, it is all alphabetized by artist, then song title. Disc one is 311 to Paul Mc Cartney (which is under P, not M... and I'm surprised I am ok with that...) Disc two is Philmore to Whitesnake. I need a two tray dvd player in my room, because I have disc one in now, but I would love to have it random between all of them...
Anyway...
I smell bleach because I did a load of whites a few minutes ago, and I think I'm getting sick or high off of the strong odor... if I pass out you will know why.
My music has moved on to Aerosmith now... for most of the day that I've been listening to it, I've been skipping to either Dashboard Confessional (Screaming Infidelities, Turpentine Chaser, Again I Go Unnoticed) and The Eagles (Hotel California, Life in the Fast Lane, Take it Easy, Witchy Woman) That is such a good set of songs... it's actually like 12 in a row from those two bands, but I can't remember them all now... too tired.
Also, the version of "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is" by Chicago has a sweet 2 minute intro that the version I had heard before didn't have.... it may be the end of a previous track? It doesn't matter, it's really cool.
I just remembered that I never put up any hunting pictures... not that I really have that many or that I saw anything... but if anyone wants me to I can throw together a quick gallery... just Let Me Know.
Alice In Chains...
I love this cd.
I'm at the point in the night when I have to decide if it's really beneficial to go to sleep or not... I have to pick up Natalie at 9:30 in the morning, and I wanted to go down to Maxwell Street and pick up some stolen tools or something... you know... browse and see if anything catches my eye.
Maybe I'll just keep blogging for the next 3 hours... it's 2:49 now, I wonder what time I will post at.
I think I started blogging at like 2:20... I've been blogging for exactly 9 songs... you figure it out.
Guess what...
They've come to snub the rooster... no we aint gonna die.
If you get that then I am proud of you... if not, I pity you.
Now I'm wondering if I'm glad I put Avril on here. Eh... it's ok.
I think I'm gonna take a nap and hope that Chicago comes on soon...
Maybe I should stay up (I hear BTO...) and tell you about the last few days...
ok.
I've been doing a lot of school stuff. We decorated our house for Christmas. I got a few presents for family and such. The guys night out on Friday was cool. We went to Chicago Chop House and I had the best 16oz Prime Rib I ever have had... and possibly the best one I ever will have... but that's sad to think about.
Then I won almost half of what I paid for that expensive meal back in poker after. A-OK.
The smell of vomit in the other room wasn't too abrasive... but that's another story.
I want a steak now.
a good one.
So, I'm leaving Thursday morning for Europe... i think I must have told you all this by now...
It is really exciting.
It's pretty expensive... but really exciting.
I will definately have a bunch of cool pictures...
I also may try some audio blogger posts... and maybe I'll post at an internet cafe or something just to say that I've blogged on two different continents...
This must be the longest blogger post ever. I should get a prize for wasting all of your time with my mindless babble...
I babble because I care... remember that.
You know... it's not even that much written here, but I'm been going at this for over an hour... it's that bleach messing up my head.
Remember the band Bad Company? If you said no, the go get cultured.
if you said yes, then good for you.
Am I becoming a music snob?
hmmm.... that would be ok... i respect people who are so into something that they look down on anyone who knows less about their subject... which in their mind is everyone.
OK, I'm gonna take a little rest...
thanks for sticking with me on this journey... it was a long one, but I feel it was rewarding...
Somehow a Barenaked Ladies song got on here... I think I'm gonna skip it... alphabetically in bands I like, I believe Chicago is next... alright... later.
