The car update...
My dad and I went and picked it up on Saturday and towed it on the back of our Grand Caravan to our house. Today, or i guess technically yesterday, we got into the nitty gritty of the working. It came with a new starter, but it was in the back seat. We got the Chilton's Auto Repair Manual from the library and dug in. In doing, we realized that whoever took the old starter out cracked a hole in a metal radiator hose. So, I had to cut that off and splice a new piece into it...
My dad's going to transfer the plates and title this week and I will probably go home Wednesday to pick it up. Are you as excited as I am? I'll try to get some actual pics then and I can post them for my loving public. It's a cute car, though. The manual trans will take a little getting used to, but I was driving it around a bit tonight and I'm getting better... just need some practice.
