So...
Natalie has told me that she thinks that country music, yes, like US99 proclaims the ultimate relationship.
So... in order to do everything in my power to add to our relationship, I listened to US99 for a little while and here is the e-mail that i sent her after my time spent.
E-mail starts here...
Country Music - What Natalie Wants
(All times are PM Wednesday night 10-2-02)
7:00 George Straight -- She’ll leave you with a smile.
Girl comes in, pretends to love him forever, then messes up guy’s life, and leaves him. She’s happy, but he is not.
7:03
Guy walks into a bar. Drinks lots of Jose Cuervo. Gets very drunk. Makes a fool of himself. Enjoys life.
7:06
Guy has fun with girl while dating her. They break up and he realizes that he is leaving her a better man than when he started. He knew they would break up eventually, but he couldn’t be the one to do it.
7:09 Tim McGraw
Guy spends lots of money on a girl at a fair. She’s convinced him to be with her all the time instead of his friends. He likes it. He loves it. He wants some more of it. He’s happy to be only with her and not with any of his friends. His parents had taught him, but the girl taught him so much more. He does everything that she wants to keep her. He loves her a lot. He cleans up and dresses nicely just to watch tv with her. He can’t explain it, but he loves to be with her and he loves everything she does.
7:13
Girl afraid to be with a man. Man tries to convince her that she should be with him. He will always take her whenever she is ready. He begs her to believe in love and to believe in them.
7:15 Joe Nicholas -- The Impossible
Man admires his father. His father could always do anything. When his father’s father died, he saw his father cry for the first time. Even the most unsinkable ships can sink.
Billy had a new car, he got in an accident. It was a miracle that he ever walked again. Always have hope. There is no such thing as being hopeless.
7:20 Mike gets tired of listening to country music…
maybe I’ll do it again soon. Is this what you want from a relationship?
Email ends here...
I can't imagine a good relationship and country music really going together at all... Does she want me to buy a pickup truck, then lose it and my house and have my dog die?
I don't even have a dog!
What the heck.
